Why are we doing this ?

Most cosmeticson the market are sold in plastic packaging.


Whether it is shampoos, soaps, shower gels. Sometimes we even have a plastic around the cap.


All this is too much packaging, it has no use. But it's not just the packaging.


Some cosmetics contain plastic within their compositionbecause it is a thickener that is inexpensive to manufacturers.

WHAT IS ZERO WASTE

Zero waste is not really a lifestyle, but a challenge. 


It is a personal challenge that has a direct impact on the planet. 


It is extremely hard not to produce any waste, but is is easy to implement small zero waste in our daily routine. 


Striving towards a zero waste life is a challenge that thousands of families have been taking up for over ten years now. 


It is an easy way to discover the different ecological practices. 


You can easily start reducing your impact on the planet by buying in bulk, avoiding buying new clothes but prefer second hand.

Manufacturing of the bars 

The craftsman from Balade en Provence create a mix of high quality natural oils, butters and organic ingredients such as grape seed oil, coconut oil, rapeseed oil, shea butter, or French green clay. 


We do not heat them,this is why this process is called "cold process".

This process also allows the ingredients of our bars toretain their natural properties.


 We then let the bars rest for 30 days on wooden shelves, to give the oils enough time to mix and mature. 


Why #Move To Solid ?

Solid bars are not only better for you but also for the environment. Most liquid cosmetics come in plastic packaging, may irritate the skin and contain nasty ingredients and up to 85% of water. Our solid beauty bars, on the other hand, are certified vegan and organic and packaged in 100% compostable cardboard (printed with vegetable-based ink). They are natural and nasty-free. Our beauty bars are also more concentrated than your traditional liquid shampoo and shower gel, so they will last longer.

What is not inside of my beauty bars ?

Our beauty bars are vegan, palm oil-free, sulfate-free and preservative-free. You can find the names of all the ingredients in your bar on its packaging and on the product description on our website.

How long can we keep the products ?

Our solid products are concentrated so that you can use them for longer than traditional liquid products.


A 40g soap can replace up to 2 bottles and an 80g soap up to 3!
