A few weeks ago we offered you the opportunity to participate in the creation of our new product, the day balm, by answering a questionnaire.

The objective was to create a product that looks like you, that meets your expectations and that will be able to replace your current day cream or face oil.

Today we have the results and we want to show you the features of your next beauty essential!

It was the first time we decided to create a product in this way, we collected more than 260 responses and we would like to thank you for your enthusiasm and participation.

Ingredients

In this balm, as in all our products, we want to put just the essentials, we want a short and understandable list of ingredients.

This Solid Day Cream will be composed ofonly 4 ingredients:

Cocoa butter: For its ability to nourish, soothe, protect and moisturize all skin types. Because it is a powerful antioxidant, perfect to fight against the effects of time and restore all its elasticity to our skin.
Cetearyl alcohol (natural origin): To soften and protect the skin without any oily effect.
Safflower Oil: Rich in antioxidants, this natural oil will help fight the effects of time on the skin. In addition, it is known to soften and protect the skin from dehydration.
Immortal Oil: For its healing and regenerative properties.

Cetearyl Alcohol

As we explained in the questionnaire, in order to make the day balm more heat resistant, optimize its texture and ensure a non-greasy finish, we were planning to use an ingredient called cetearyl alcohol, a natural and healthy but scary name .

We wanted to make sure you didn't have a problem with it.

In the end, 96% of you said that you were not afraid of its name, or that since it is healthy and natural, you didn't mind finding it in the list of ingredients.

So that you know a little more about cetearyl alcohol, it is a fatty alcohol of100% vegetable origin used as an emollient and helps to thicken and stabilize creams, in many cosmetics. It also softens and moisturizes the skin without any oily effect.

In the day balm it will allow on the one hand a better hold, but also give it a perfect texture that will penetrate more quickly.

You will be able to use less product, which will be ideal for the day, alone, or as a base for make-up.

Immortelle Essential Oil

With or without immortal essential oil? The results are unequivocal, more than 80% "Yes". The essential oil of immortal, also called Italian helichrysum essential oil will therefore be part of the ingredients of the day balm.

If you don't know the immortal flower let us introduce it to you and tell you about its incredible properties.

Known for hundreds of years, this flower has the particularity, as its name indicates, of never withering. Its resistance allows it to regenerate for many years and to withstand both very cold winters and hot summers. Its small yellow flowers, resembling small suns, populate the Mediterranean basin and particularly the rocky soils of the Corsican maquis.

Thanks to its many virtues, it is used in different forms and in different fields: cosmetics, cooking and medicine, where its effectiveness on bruises and bumps has been recognized as superior to that of arnica.

In cosmetics, Italian Helichrysum essential oil is a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin from external aggressions and helps to fight against the signs of skin ageing. Firming and soothing, this essential oil helps to even out the skin by reducing redness, scars and stretch marks.

You should also know that we have thought about the composition of the balm so that it can be suitable for as many people as possible. Therefore the quantity of essential oil is large enough to enjoy all its benefits, but small enough so that there is no allergenic risk.

You have unanimously decided to opt for a pastel yellow packaging for this new product.

We're super happy that you chose this color, we also had a small preference for this one.

Something to put some cheer and sunshine in our bathroom. In addition, this bright yellow is reminiscent of the immortal oil inside...

Its Shape

You had the choice between a round or square shape, like the Night Balm....

In the end, it was the round form that won with 55% of the votes.
