The cases are printed in France. Only the paper comes from Holland as it is the closest supplier we found for certified compostable paper.

Whether it's shampoos, soaps, shower gels. Sometimes we even have plastic around the cap.
All this is excess packaging , it has no use.
But it's not just the packaging.
Some cosmetics contain plastic within their composition because it is a thickener that does not cost manufacturers much.

The making of artisanal bars
The artisans at Balade en Provence create a blend of the highest quality natural oils and rich organic ingredients , such as grapeseed oil, coconut oil, rapeseed oil, shea butter and French clay to make the bars.
We then let the bars sit for 30 days on wooden shelves, to give the oils time to mix and mature.
We do not heat them , that is why the saponification process is called "cold process".
This process also allows the ingredients in our bars to retain their natural properties.

About Walk in Provence
We are a Provençal organic and zero waste cosmetics company, carefully manufacturing sensory beauty bars.
When we launched our first skincare line four years ago, we were surprised to discover that most shampoos, shower gels and other liquid skincare products contain more than 80% water , chemical preservatives and are contained in plastic packaging .
Trucks, boats and planes burning energy to transport water-based products, packaged in plastic and containing potentially harmful ingredients for consumers, didn't sit well with us at all, so we decided to do something to fix it.
Our philosophy is to promote kindness.
“Benevolence” is a French term that can be defined as “generosity or desire to do good” .
At Balade en Provence, we believe that all actions, large and small, have an impact.
That's why we strive to do what's " right" when we develop our products , interact with our customers, work in our community, and manage environmental waste.

Solid soaps are not only better for you but also for the environment . Most liquid cosmetics come in plastic packaging, contain harmful ingredients that can irritate the skin, and up to 85% water.
Our solid beauty bars, on the other hand, are certified vegan and organic and packaged in 100% compostable cardboard (printed with vegetable ink). They are natural and cruelty-free.
Our solid products are also more concentrated than your traditional liquid shampoo and body wash, allowing them to last longer.
What ingredients are not present in solid products?
Our beauty bars are Vegan, palm oil-free, sulfate-free (only the conditioner contains it today, but we are continually looking to improve our products) , plastic-free and preservative-free.
What is the lifespan of solid products?
Our solid products are concentrated so you can use them longer than traditional liquid products.
A 40g soap can replace up to 2 bottles and an 80g soap up to 3!
