A few weeks ago we asked you to participate in the creation of our new product, the day balm, by answering a questionnaire.

The objective was to create a product that suits you, that meets your expectations and that will be able to replace your current day cream or facial oil.

Today we have the results and we want to present to you the characteristics of your next beauty essential!

It was the first time that we decided to create a product in this way, we collected more than 260 responses and we would like to thank you for your enthusiasm and your participation.

Ingredients

In this balm, as in all our products, we want to put just the essentials, we want a short and understandable list of ingredients.

This day balm will be composed of only 4 ingredients:

Cocoa Butter: For its ability to nourish, soothe, protect and hydrate all skin types. Because it is a powerful antioxidant, perfect for fighting the effects of time and restoring all its elasticity to our skin.
Cetearyl alcohol (natural origin): To soften and protect the skin without greasy effect
Safflower Oil: Rich in antioxidants, this natural oil will help combat the effects of time on the skin. In addition, it is known for softening and protecting the skin from dehydration.
Immortelle oil: For its healing and regenerative properties.

Cetearyl Alcohol

As we explained to you during the questionnaire, in order to make the day balm more resistant to heat, optimize its texture and ensure a non-greasy finish, we planned to use an ingredient called cetearyl alcohol , a natural and healthy ingredient, but whose name can be scary.

We wanted to make sure he wasn't a problem for you.

Finally, 96% of you said that its name did not scare you , or that, since it is healthy and natural, it did not bother you to find it in the list of ingredients.

So that you know a little more about cetearyl alcohol, it is a fatty alcohol of 100% vegetable origin used as an emollient and helps thicken and stabilize creams, in many cosmetics. It also helps soften and moisturize the skin without a greasy effect .

In the day balm it will provide better hold, but will also give it a perfect texture which will penetrate more quickly.

You will be able to use less product , which will therefore be ideal for the day, alone, or as a base for makeup.

Immortelle Essential Oil

With or without immortelle essential oil? The results are unequivocal, more than 80% “Yes” . Immortelle essential oil, also called Italian helichrysum essential oil, will therefore be one of the ingredients of the day balm.

If you don't know the immortelle flower, let us introduce it to you and tell you about its incredible properties.

Known for hundreds of years, this flower has the particularity, as its name suggests, of never withering . Its resistance allows it to regenerate for many years and to withstand both very cold winters and hot summers. Its small yellow flowers, resembling small suns, populate the Mediterranean basin and particularly the rocky lands of the Corsican maquis.

Thanks to its many virtues, it is used in different forms and in different fields: cosmetics, cooking and medicine; area in which its effectiveness on hematomas and bumps has been recognized as superior to that of arnica.

In cosmetics, Italian Helichrysum essential oil is a powerful antioxidant which protects the skin from external aggressions and helps fight against the signs of skin aging . Firming and soothing , this essential oil helps unify the skin by reducing redness, scars and stretch marks.

Please note that we have designed the composition of the balm so that it is suitable for as many people as possible. Therefore the quantity of essential oil is large enough to benefit from all its benefits, but low enough so that there is no allergenic risk.

Its Packaging

You unanimously decided to opt for pastel yellow packaging for this new product.

We are super happy that you chose this color, we also had a slight preference for this one.

Enough to bring cheerfulness and sunshine into our bathroom. In addition, this luminous yellow is reminiscent of the immortelle oil found inside...

We'll still have a little surprise for you for the final packaging, but you'll discover it very quickly!

Its shape

You had the choice between a round shape and a square shape, like the Night Balm .

Ultimately, it was the round shape which won with 55% of the votes.

It was quite difficult to decide between this choice, but this different shape will on the one hand differentiate it from the night balm in your bathroom , but will also be very practical to use and apply to your face.
