Walk in Provence in Nice Morning
Emma
This summer, we had to face extreme heat, so we were looking for solutions to be able to protect our fragile products such as solid conditioner, but especially night balm. We explored many options, we wanted to avoid plastic or aluminum insulation at all costs, because although very effective, they in no way correspond to our values and our zero waste approach.
This is where we remembered the famous story of the Tour de France riders who, after sweating a lot while climbing a pass, had to face often very low temperatures and strong winds. They collected newspapers to slip under their clothes, to insulate them so they wouldn't catch a cold during the descent. After further research, we were convinced, the newspaper was the ideal ally!
Alexandre, the founder of Balade en Provence, immediately had the idea of contacting our local newspaper, Nice Matin . They did not hesitate to follow us in this process and kindly opened their doors to us to offer us their unsold items!
This action also results in this magnificent article published today, Sunday October 18 in the Nice Matin.

We are really happy to have been able to achieve this great partnership, which allowed us on the one hand to avoid the production of additional waste, but also to reuse local newspapers which could not be sold. This is also zero waste, being able to give a second life to objects to reduce their impact on the planet.
We would particularly like to thank Charlotte, Aurore and the Nice Matin team who directly supported us in this project.
